H4- Are we meeting their needs? . recent graduates have their say about Career Services (Educator)
Lynn Brownlie, Isidora Petrovic - University of Toronto
Career service providers in post-secondary settings are being asked and even mandated to produce more than anecdotal information about how our services equip students to ease their transition from academia to the job market. We believe in the utility of what we do and want to ensure that our services make a difference in students.. lives. If we ask them, what will they tell us? Will we find out that we are enhancing career confidence and readiness for the job market or will they trash our services? In the spring of 2007, the University of Toronto Career Centre asked our recently graduated class to tell us not only what they..re doing, but if and how we assisted them with their career needs. And boy, did they tell us! Come hear the good they had to say, the not so good, and yes, there were a few surprises.
