Subject: Call for nominations for National Board and Regional Advisory Boards

I hereby declare nominations open for the 2010-2011:

  • National Board of Directors;
  • Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario and Canada West Advisory Boards.

You will find a complete list of board positions that are open for nomination below.

The strength of CACEE’s Boards has an important impact on our Association’s continued success.  Please take time to nominate your CACEE colleagues who would make a valuable contribution to your Association. Our current board members are willing to provide you with further information about the requirements of the positions as well as share their experiences of personal growth and professional development. Please do not hesitate to contact them directly.

It is recognized that a commitment in time, both personal and on the part of your employer, is required to volunteer for these positions.  Limited financial support for travel is provided for volunteer Board members (National and Regional); travel costs will be incurred and are most often borne by employers. All efforts are made to minimize the amount of travel required.

The nomination form is available at www.cacee.com (you must login to view the form) and must be submitted to the CACEE National Office no later than 5:00 PM (EST) on March 5th, 2010.  Voting will take place between April 1 and 30th, 2010.  Terms of office will begin at the Annual General Meeting in early June 2010.

Under CACEE’s by-law, Directors and Regional Advisory Board members are elected for a two-year term and may seek re-election for a second two-year term.
