Early Talent Strategy Is Changing. Is Your Organization Ready? Check Out These 2 Webinars This June!

by CACEE/ACSEE, posted on June 8, 2026
CACEE is pleased to partner with Challenge Factory for two upcoming webinars that tackle one of the most pressing challenges in the talent ecosystem right now: the gap between attracting early-career talent and actually building the systems that help them stay, grow, and contribute.

Whether you work in campus career services or on the employer side, these sessions are designed to help you show up as a stronger, more strategic partner in the broader talent ecosystem.

In 2025, Challenge Factory partnered with CACEE, with the support of CERIC, to examine this persistent challenge. The result was the development of the Career Development as Strategy Playbook and the Career Infrastructure Bootcamp, designed to help employers shift from program-based approaches toward building internal career centres that function as part of everyday workforce and business planning. Together, they lay the foundation for organizations to implement a made-for-this-moment Career Infrastructure Operating System™ (CIOS) — a proprietary framework that reframes career development as an integrated, enterprise-wide system rather than a disconnected set of programs or activities.

These two webinars bring these outputs into focus through the lens of two distinct audiences.

For Employers: How to Build an Early Talent Pipeline That Stays

Tuesday, June 23, 2026 | 12–1 PM ET

Many employers are working hard to attract early-career talent, only to watch promising people leave before the organization has seen the full return on its investment. The issue is not always the talent, the recruitment strategy, or the employer brand. Often, it is what happens after the offer is accepted.

This webinar is designed for HR, talent, and business leaders who want stronger early-career pipelines that lead to long-term contribution, not just successful hiring cycles.

In this session, Challenge Factory will share:

  • A clearer diagnosis: why early-career retention problems often point to missing career infrastructure, not weak recruitment
  • A systems-level framework: how the Career Infrastructure Operating System™ (CIOS) helps organizations identify the structural barriers that prevent talent from growing and staying
  • A practical path forward: how the Career Development as Strategy Playbook can support stronger internal career centres, better mobility, and more sustainable workforce planning

If your organization is investing in early talent, this webinar will help you see whether your systems are strong enough to keep the people you worked so hard to attract.

For Campus Career Leaders: Why Your Employer Partnerships Are Carrying More Weight Than Ever

Thursday, June 25, 2026 | 12–1 PM ET

Employer partnerships are no longer just about job postings, career fairs, and campus presence. For many campus career leaders, they are tied to student relevance, institutional influence, funding opportunities, and credibility across campus.

This webinar is designed for campus career leaders who already know that employer engagement is changing, and who want a stronger way to show up as strategic partners in the broader talent ecosystem.

In this session, Challenge Factory will share:

  • A sharper way to name the problem: why career development efforts often stall inside organizations, even when employer interest and student expectations are high
  • A systems-level lens for employer conversations: how the Career Infrastructure Operating System™ (CIOS) helps identify the conditions that make career development sustainable
  • A practical bridge to deeper partnership: how the Career Development as Strategy Playbook can help campus leaders move beyond transactional engagement and into more strategic advisory relationships with employers

If your institution is being asked to do more with employer partnerships, this webinar will help you see where the next opportunity lies — and show you how to position your institution as a strategic contributor to the future of early talent development.
