 ------------------------------------------------------\n\n \n\nThe Seni
or College, Institute, and Polytechnic Career Leaders CoP is driven and
informed by the community it serves, with an intent to:\n\n* Explore eme
rging trends, issues, and topics identified as a collective\n\n* Support
you in generating solutions and pragmatic approaches to common challeng
es, opportunities, and what is keeping you up at night\n\n* Be a space t
o share resources, exchange ideas, challenge one another, spark innovati
on, celebrate the wins, and examine common issues in a space focused on
leadership\n\n* Evolve with the college, institute, and polytechnic nati
onal landscape\n\nThe infrastructure, logistics support, and technology
underpinning the CoP are provided by the Canadian Association of Career
Educators and Employers (CACEE).\n\n The CoP levarages three platforms
to engage and facilitate dialogue amongst its members:\n\n* A National
 Listerv\n\n* A minimum of 2 virtual roundtable sessions per year\n\n* 1
in-person roundtable session annually as a part of the CACEE National Co
nference\n\n** The Listserv will be open to all members of the CoP at no
cost as a value-add to the sector.  In order to attend future virtualÂ
and in-person roundtable sessions, members will need to be a part of b
oth the CoP and CACEE.\n\n-- Who? --\n\nThe Senior College, Institute, o
r Polytechnic Career Leaders CoP is for professionals with operational,
strategic, and financial accountability for career services:\n\n* on th
eir college, institute, or polytechnic campus\n\n* in their school or fa
culty\n\n* for their institution\n\nin any region of Canada. In the spir
it of fairness, it is requested that only one senior leader (ideally the
most senior) from each institution be a part of the CoP. The exception
of course being, where there are leaders at a similar job level at an i
nstitution with multiple campuses, decentralized operations, or faculty-
based career services.\n\n** Please note that a National Listserv is ope
n to all members of the CoP as a value add to the sector.  In order t
o participate in any future in-person and virtual roundtable sessions, C
oP members will need to be a part of both the CoP and CACEE.\n\nCACEE i
ntends to offer additional CoPs as a part of our professional community
tailored to the needs of frontline practitioners, disciplines, student i
dentities, and employers in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned as these may
also be of interest to you or your team!\n\n-- When? --\n\nThe Roundtabl
 e Session will take place Friday  October 20th, 2023 from 12:30 - 1:30
pm Eastern. \n\nThere is no cost to attend and you can register belo
 w.  A Zoom link and logistics will be sent to you upon registration and
again in the days leading up to the session.\n\nIf you are interested i
n being a part of the CoP, but not able to attend on October 20th, pleas
e reach out to us at info@cacee.com.  We are happy to provide you with
further information and next steps.\n\n-- Where? --\n\nThis Roundtable S
ession will be hosted on Zoom.  A link will be provided to all register
ed participants in the days leading up to the session.\n\n-- Why? --\n\n
The professional development needs and opportunities, challenges, and is
sues faced by Senior College, Institute, and Polytechnic Career Leaders
are distinct. In consultation with the sector, it became clear that crea
ting a CoP with a national scope would add significant value, foster gre
ater opportunities for collaboration and best practice sharing, and furt
her professional learning and development across the space.\n\n-- Join t
he conversation and share your perspectives by signing up for the Roundt
able Session on October 20th below!  If you have questions or would li
ke to discuss this CoP in greater detail, please reach out to the CACEE
