CACEE Connects - Addressing the Essential Skills Gap: A Collaborative Model in Action

Novembre 21, 2025, 12:00 - 1:00 PM

Hosted by the CACEE Canada West Regional Advisory Board (RAB)

Session Overview

Join the CACEE Canada West RAB for a dynamic panel exploring how experiential learning can bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world skill demands. This session highlights a collaborative initiative between University of Saskatchewan Career Services and Siemens EDA’s to bring together A Day in the Life at Siemens EDA experience for students.

Through this innovative, hands-on program, students from the Colleges of Arts & Science and Engineering connected directly with professionals from one of the world’s largest technology companies while gaining practical insight into in-demand skills and emerging career pathways.

Hear from our panelists as they share how this partnership created a deeply enriching environment for both students and employers, offering valuable lessons in developing essential skills, identifying skill gaps, and preparing future-ready talent.
