Session Overview
How can emerging AI tools support student engagement in ways that are practical, effective, and grounded? This interactive session brings CACEE members together from across the country to explore that question through shared dialogue and connection.
The session will kick-off with a short demo of Notebook LM to spark ideas and create a shared context for the conversation. From there, participants will move into facilitated small-group conversations focused on surfacing approaches for engaging students across different points in their journey from the classroom to the workplace.
Designed as a peer-to-peer exchange, this session will give you the chance to build relationships across the CACEE community, learn from one another’s experiences, and explore how emerging tools and approaches can support your work.
You will get to choose from three areas of student engagement to explore further based on your role, interests, or current priorities:
- Hiring & Recruitment
Job postings, résumés and cover letters, interview preparation, employer branding, and candidate communication - Coaching & Advising
One-to-one and group coaching, action planning, student motivation, and career decision-making - Facilitation & Learning Design
Classrooms, workshops, seminars, experiential learning, and scalable programming
Each group will reflect on what’s currently working well, where AI or digital tools could add value, and where gaps or emerging opportunities exist in our current practices. Insights will from each discussion will be shared with the full group, - so, you will also get the full benefit of the knowledge and expertise shared on this topic by your peers from across Canada.
