The CACEE Career Peer Coordinators Community of Practice (CoP) invites you to attend their upcoming virtual roundtable session:
What are some winning strategies to attract and retain Career Peer Educators/Advisors? How do you determine an optimum balance of academic backgrounds, skills, and expertise for your team and operational needs? And, how do you go about achieving it? This session will explore these questions in an interactive roundtable discussion. Join us to share and discover approaches that can help you recruit the best candidates and keep them engaged with your Career Peer program.
You're also invited to submit topics and questions for discussion in advance or simply bring your experiences, resources, challenges, and best practices to what promises to be highly engaging and informative dialogue! It is FREE to participate.
Register using the button below for this FREE virtual roundtable session. Each participant will receive a confirmation e-mail with the link to join the session via Zoom upon registration as well as a reminder e-mail 24 hrs leading up to the session.
The Career Peer Coordinators Community of Practice (CoP) brings together career leaders, educators, and coordinators who support peer educators—whether paid or volunteer—within career centres across Canada. This group serves as a space to exchange best practices, discuss challenges, and collaborate on ways to enhance career peer programs.
The CoP is co-led by:
Keith Haimila

and is administered as a value add to professionals supporting the journey from post-secondary studies to career success by the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE). The CoP offers participants a CoP E-mail Forum to stay connected throughout the year, a minimum of 3 virtual sessions per year and the opportunity to connect at the CACEE National Conference or PD Events. There is no cost to participate.
We look forward to having you participate in the roundtable sessions and the broader CoP throughout the year!
