Job Description / Duties

The career coach role is currently structured as part-time (10 hours average per week) with potential for expanded hours/ growth into a full time role. The Career Coach reports to Lime Connect's Director of Professional Development, and should reside in the GTA.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Career Coach is an important member of the professional development team and is responsible for providing targeted support for Lime Network members. The coach will focus on identifying high potential members and preparing them for internships and full time roles, potentially with our partners. This individual will also help create impactful educational components aimed at helping Network members reach their full potential and supporting corporate partners in their efforts to raise awareness and support their employees with disabilities.

Responsibilities include:
• Identifying high potential Lime Network members who could benefit from additional coaching and track and report progress and success of these candidates
• Coaching and advising Network members on critical components of the career search including:
o career assessment
o resume and cover letter development
o interview prep
o disclosure and accommodations guidance
o consideration of offers
• Delivering impactful virtual and in-person training and development programs for Network members and Lime Connect partners
• Working with Lime Connect’s Director of Professional Development in developing learning strategies, training components, and additional responsibilities as needed
• Collaborating with Lime Connect’s Relationship Manager in Canada

Qualifications / Required Skills

Specific Skills and/or Previous Experience Required:
• 4-year undergraduate degree, master’s degree preferred
• Strong coaching and training experience
• Solid presentation skills
• Proven relationship development and management skills
• Experience in the diversity/disability space a plus
