Job Description / Duties

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A FULL-TIME TEMPORARY CONTRACT TO SEPTEMBER 13, 2024.

Reporting to the Director, YU Experience Hub, the incumbent supports faculty, new graduates,
students, employers, community partners and internal units at York University by generating
and enhancing employment opportunities for current students and new graduates. The
Experiential Learning Community Liaison Coordinator works with the Experiential Education
Coordinators to facilitate key employer partnerships, both in terms of cultivating skill
development / employment opportunities and by advancing employer relationships with
faculty.

Qualifications / Required Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

A University Degree (ex. Business, Communications, etc.) plus training in outreach strategies,
career development, experiential education and student advising. Two (2) years of relevant
experience with sales and marketing, human resources, and/or recruiting, preferably in an
educational setting that would include experience developing and managing relationships.
Advanced knowledge of effective sales and relationship management practices. Knowledge of
recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition, on campus recruitment, the hiring cycle, and
the sales cycle. Knowledge of industry trends and labour market demands with strong
business acumen.
