Job Description / Duties

Reporting to the Director of Student Services, principle responsibilities will be setting the vision, goals and objectives of career services, community outreach and student engagement programming. This position will work closely with faculty in the integration of service learning objectives within academic disciplines, specifically working with and overseeing the development of community partners and student placements.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Well developed communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills will showcase your clear understanding and appreciation for the role Student Services plays in a University. Your qualifications include a solid understanding of student and human development theory normally obtained through successful completion of a university degree together with previous experience working with students in a post-secondary setting. Experience administering formalized career assessment tools is also required. Your ability to work within a team while showing independence and initiative is as important as your strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects. Supervisory experience would be an asset. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
