Job Description / Duties

Devon Canada has an exciting opportunity for an Emerging Professionals Lead to join our Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition the successful candidate will utilize Devon's workforce plan and human capital analytics to design a robust campus program focused primarily on the attraction of emerging talent: co-op students, interns, new graduates and summer students.

Essential Functions:
• Lead the campus recruitment and marketing strategy
• Early career branding, recruitment and placement strategies and processes
• Identify sources of talent and establish long-term relationships with deans/professors, faculty and students, campus program offices, and student organizations
• Manage plans and drive college recruiting results, needs identification, sourcing, interviewing, evaluation and selection of qualified students and follow-up with all candidates
• Measure and obtain program effectiveness including conversion rates, source yield and acceptance to hire rates
• Drive change in the organization related to new graduate development
• Execute strategy for increasing organizational capability for mentoring
• Manage appropriate social activities to enhance the intern experience
• Build and establish effective relationships with lines of business, candidates, and partner organizations
• Lead and develop campus and new graduate team within the HR function

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Bachelor degree
• Minimum of ten years of related recruitment experience, with a minimum of 6 years focused on college recruitment at the strategic level
• Previous experience in the development and execution of campus programs
• Demonstrated effectiveness in running programs and delivering against commitments
• Strong comprehension of social media practices
• Familiarity with EIT and GIT rotational programs
• Strong customer service orientation
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Displays clear & effective communication skills at all levels within organization
• Experience traveling to colleges to build relationships, participate in events and facilitate presentations and interviews
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to travel, with increased travel during peak campus cycles
