Novembre 13 - 14, 2025
To say it’s a turbulent time for campus recruitment and career centre operations is an understatement! Today’s environment calls for solid operational leadership and the ability to work with staff teams to translate vision into concrete strategies that address student needs, economic realities, and competing priorities. The CACEE Learning Lab for Operational Leaders provides a virtual forum to come together, learn, exchange ideas, and collaborate in a solutions-focused way.
Hosted on a virtual platform, this event will feature plenary sessions, time for reflection, panel discussions, and small group roundtables to keep the experience dynamic and engaging. Participants will also have access to recordings of plenary sessions and panel discussions for three months following the event. To extend the learning, you’ll be able to continue the conversation with national colleagues throughout the year through a dedicated discussion and email forum.
Here is a summary of what's on deck at this event:

Take a breath, process what you've learned, and come back refreshed as you continue with the day.
Building on the At Issue Panel, these roundtables give you the space to further unpack the realities of our current climate named throughout the discussion and approaches for how to respond. You’ll connect in smaller groups to share perspectives, examine emerging themes, and identify practical approaches, with a debrief to bring insights back to the collective group.

* All times listed are in Eastern Time. Be sure to adjust your time zone accordingly.
Settle into Day 2 with a dynamic workshop exploring resources and tools to support advocacy, advance practice, and move vision into actions in ways that make a difference for your teams and students.
Featuring perspectives and insights from senior leaders, this panel will highlight tested practices and lessons learned in supporting students and strengthening operations in today’s reality. You’ll also benefit from voices of experience to help you continue to develop and hone your leadership competencies.
Step away from the screen, recharge, and reflect on the insights gained so far before returning for some small group discussion.
Furthering the dialogue from the Leadership in Practice Panel, these roundtables invite you to test key ideas in your own context and explore tactics to ensure your approach to leading your function is as supportive, impactful, and sustainable as possible. A larger group debrief will bring in perspectives and ideas shared by your peers to deepen and expand your learning.
