National Career Development Certification Information Session + Summer Check-in
July 2nd, 2025 | 1 - 2 pm Eastern | via Zoom

Join us in conversation with representatives from Career Certification, the recognized assessment agency that delivers the National Career Development Certification (NCDC) Program for an interactive discussion centred on:

• Overview of what is involved in taking part in the National Career Development Certification Program and earning the CCDP designation
• Perspectives from a program participant and fellow Career Peer Coordinator
• Opportunities that the NCDC program presents for career education in the post-secondary sector and for CPEs/CPAs
• Strategies for supporting CPEs/CPAs who may wish to pursue further education and a career path in career development

+ our Summer Check-In!  This is an informal opportunity to tap into the collective expertise of the CoP to ask questions, spotlight resources and new initiatives, share lessons learned, and gain insights to support you in your day-to-day work with CPEs/CPAs. 

You're invited to submit questions in advance or simply bring your experiences, resources, challenges, and best practices to what promises to be highly engaging and informative dialogue! It is FREE to participate.

About the CACEE Career Peer Coordinators CoP

The Career Peer Coordinators Community of Practice (CoP) brings together career leaders, educators, and coordinators who support peer educators—whether paid or volunteer—within career centres across Canada. This group serves as a space to exchange best practices, discuss challenges, and collaborate on ways to enhance career peer programs.

and is administered as a value add to professionals supporting the journey from post-secondary studies to career success by the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE).  The CoP offers participants a CoP E-mail Forum to stay connected throughout the year, a minimum of 3 virtual sessions per year and the opportunity to connect at the CACEE National Conference or PD Events.  There is no cost to participate.
