The CACEE National Board of Directors invites you to join us for the 2025 CACEE Professional Learning Day on June 20th, 2025! We can't wait to welcome you!!
3 Great Options to Engage
Option 1 - Participate In-Person
Spend the day connecting with colleagues, gaining fresh insights, and engaging in meaningful professional development. The in-person program features:
- Career Educator | Employer Networking Breakfast - Reconnect and build new relationships with your colleagues over a light breakfast.
- Post-Secondary Talent and the Evolving Labour Market: Finding Opportunity in Uncertainty - a panel conversation featuring employers, career centre leaders, and leading sector voices. Together we will explore how the transition from post-secondary to career is growing more complex as economic pressures, policy shifts, evolving student priorities, and changes in workforce demands converge. Supporting post-secondary talent, and strengthening our own approaches as employers and institutions, means rethinking how we build skills, create meaningful experiences, and prepare students to navigate an unpredictable labour market with clarity and confidence.
- CACEE AGM & Keynote Presentation- Hear highlights from the past program year, celebrate the achievements and contributions of your peers during our special presentations, and have your say to help shape the future of the association. Lunch will be provided. Our featured keynote presentation, AI in Career Education and Campus Recruitment: Empowering Students, Recruiters, and Educators for an Evolving Skills and Workforce Landscape will focus on how institutions and employers can use AI responsibly to enhance coaching, hiring, and student engagement—while keeping ethics, equity, and human connection at the core. Gain practical strategies to support talent in an evolving labour market and uncover where AI excels, where humans lead, and the sweet spot for the two to work in tandem in our space.
- Empowering Students with Autism on Their Career Journey and in the Workplace: Insights from the Sapphire Program - this final session is infused with the student perspective, collaborative & innovative approaches, and a spotlight on a program making a difference in career outcomes for post-secondary talent with Autism.
The event also offers an optional tour of the Laurier Experiential Learning & Career Development Centre and additional opportunities for informal networking.

More About the CACEE Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The AGM is an important opportunity to hear updates from the CACEE National Board of Directors and connect with members from across the country. While there is essential business to be done, it’s also a time to come together as a community.
If you can’t attend, submitting a Proxy Voting Form helps ensure quorum is reached and your voice is represented.
Note: Meeting links (for virtual attendees), voting instructions, the AGM package, and logistics details will be shared with all registrants 24 hours in advance.
All in-person and virtual attendees, as well as those submitting a proxy form, will receive a recording of the keynote and a summary of key takeaways after the event.
