Agenda

Spend the day connecting with colleagues, gaining fresh insights, and participating in engaging and though provoking sessions! The in-person program features:

8:30 am - 10:00 am --> Career Educator | Employer Networking Breakfast

Reconnect and build new relationships with your colleagues over a light breakfast.

10:15am - 11:45am --> Post-Secondary Talent and the Evolving Labour Market: Finding Opportunity in Uncertainty

Panelists:

Caroline Konrad | VP Canadian Ecosystem - Riipen
Jeff Ollinger | Director, Talent Acquisition (Corporate & Campus) - Sun Life
Julia Mamone | Talent Acquisition Partner - D2L
Jennifer Woodside | Director, Centre for Career Development - University of Waterloo
Tammy Schirle | Professor, Lazaridis School of Business & Economics - Wilfrid Laurier University

A panel conversation featuring employers, career centre leaders, and leading sector voices. Together we will explore how the transition from post-secondary to career is growing more complex as economic pressures, policy shifts, evolving student priorities, and changes in workforce demands converge. Supporting post-secondary talent, and strengthening our own approaches as employers and institutions, means rethinking how we build skills, create meaningful experiences, and prepare students to navigate an unpredictable labour market with clarity and confidence.
