2024 CACEE Annual General Meeting & Keynote Presentation - Register Today!

The CACEE National Board of Directors invites all CACEE members to join virtually via Zoom from 12:45 - 2:15 pm Eastern on Friday, June 14th for the 2024 CACEE AGM  & Keynote Presentation.

This 1.5 hr virtual session will be chock full of professional development, share highlights and milestones from the past programming year, and the opportunity to have your voice heard in shaping the future of the association.

What to Expect?

The 2024 CACEE Annual General Meeting & Keynote Presentation will feature:

  • A thought provoking keynote presentation offering insight and impactful approaches for connecting with students and new grads through the lens of social anthropology, HR strategy, and identity formation
  • Learning and networking with your CACEE career education and campus recruitment colleagues from across the country
  • Tools and strategies you can apply in your work with the next generation of talent
  • A walk through of the highlights of the 2023-24 programming year, a look at what's next for the association, and exciting announcements
  • The opportunity to help shape the future of the association

Keynote Presentation

"Navigating Cultural Currents: Harnessing Drivers of Human Behaviour to Shape Career Education, Workplace Culture, and HR Strategy"

Get ready to explore what is influencing the next generation of talent through the lens of social anthropology and HR strategy. Together, we'll dive into:

  • what is influencing the current post-secondary cohort in their decisions around education, career paths, and work-life balance
  • actionable ways to attract, connect and engage with students and new grads in career development programming, campus recruitment, and in the workplace
  • debunking myths about students and new grad talent; and, validating what is underpinning what we are observing in our work alongside them
  • understanding how the drivers of human behaviour in 2024 are impacting our critical work with students and new grads

featuring: Dr. Aliaa Remtilla, PhD | Chief Scientist & Co-Founder, StoryTiling 

Dr. Remtilla's background is as a social anthropologist completing her studies at both Harvard University and the University of Manchester and conducting field research in over 20 countries. She is known for translating academic insights on human behaviour into practical applications in:

  • career education
  • creating a sustainable, inclusive, and meaningful workplace culture, and 
  • informing HR strategy to attract, engage, and retain top talent

At the conclusion of the keynote presentation, CACEE Members will participate in the proceedings of the AGM.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Annual General Meeting provides a platform for the CACEE National Board of Directors to provide important updates and engage member voices.  While there is key business which needs to be conducted, it is also an opportunity to come together with fellow CACEE members CACEE colleagues form coast to coast.

If you are not able to attend the AGM, it is important that you complete a Proxy Voting Form.  This form ensures that your voice is heard and that there is quorum (sufficient representation of the membership) to carry out the business of the association. Complete it by clicking on the form in your language of choice below.

A reminder, meeting link, AGM package, and review of logistics will be shared with all registrants 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

NOTE: All attendees and those who complete a Proxy Voting Form will also receive a recording of the keynote and summary of key-take-aways post-event.
