SUBJECT: Call for nominations for National Board
The following Board positions are open for nomination for 2014-2015:
- 2 Directors (Employer)
- 1 Director (Educator)
- 1 President-Elect (Educator)
The strength of CACEE’s Board has an important impact on our Association’s continued success. Please take time to nominate your CACEE colleagues who you feel would make a valuable contribution to your Association. Our current Board members are willing to provide you with further information about the requirements of the positions as well as share their experiences of personal growth and professional development. Please do not hesitate to contact them directly.
It is recognized that a commitment in time, both personal and on the part of your employer, is required to volunteer for these positions. Limited financial support for travel is provided for volunteer Board members (National); travel costs will be incurred and are most often borne by employers. All efforts are made to minimize the amount of travel required.
To place a nomination, please click here and log in to the CACEE website. All nominations must be submitted to the CACEE National Office no later than 5:00 PM EST on February 26th, 2014. Voting will take place between April 1st and 30th, 2014. Terms of office will begin at the Annual General Meeting in May 2014.
Under CACEE’s by-law, Directors and Regional Advisory Board members are elected for a two-year term and may seek re-election for a second two-year term.
