Last year, the national board outlined a series of priority areas for CACEE as well as some structural changes that would support those priorities. In carrying forward with these priority areas we require several additional skill sets to complement those already engaged at the national board level. This creates added opportunity for CACEE members to enhance their own career and professional development through contributing as national board members of CACEE. All of this is geared toward providing clear return on investment for membership engagement. The skill sets being sought include:

• Association financial management/budget oversight
• Volunteer engagement and recruitment
• Business/partnership development
• Marketing and communications

We are excited to continue to build member value and to ensure CACEE  is meeting your professional development and networking development needs. If you are aware of a CACEE colleague who may wish to further develop their skills and leadership experience through volunteering at this pivotal time in the evolution of our Association, we would be most pleased to receive nominations of individuals to serve in the following national board positions;  

• President Elect (Educator)
• Director Educator (up to 3 available)
• Director Employer (up to 3 available)
• Director Affiliate (1)

Voting will start on March 18, 2019 and close on March 29, 2019 at 12:00 PM EST. Terms of office will begin at the Annual General Meeting in May 2019 in Halifax, NS.  Nominations can be submitted using the form found here.
