The CACEE Data and Systems Community of Practice (CoP) invites you to attend the Summer Virtual Roundtable Session - Navigating the Data Landscape in Career Services: Insights & Strategies from Senior Career Leaders on June 25th, 2024 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm Eastern - 

Join us in conversation with Shaunna-Marie Kerr (Schulich School of Business) and Felicity Morgan (University of Toronto - Mississauga). Together we will:

  • Learn to identify key metrics that highlight the ROI of career programs.
  • Explore top tools for data collection and powerful visualizations.
  • Get tips on engaging stakeholders in data-driven decision-making.
  • Gain insights for both newcomers and seasoned professionals in data utilization.

Shaunna-Marie Kerr is the Associate Director of Career Advising and Design at the Schulich School of Business, Centre for Career Design. With over a decade of experience spanning various facets of career and workforce development, Shaunna-Marie's passion lies in fostering equitable access and empowering outcomes for equity-seeking groups, including women, youth, immigrants, and displaced persons.

Felicity Morgan
Director, Career Centre
University of Toronto - Mississauga

Felicity guides her team to develop and facilitate innovative and collaborative programming to help students build their tailored career management skills. Her work is centred on student needs via assessment, evaluation, best practices and evidence-based research. She values intentional, thoughtful actions, with flexibility and risk included. The UTM Career Centre’s strategic plans are value driven, with accountable goals and directions to build a successful student support service.

About the CACEE Data & Systems CoP

The purpose underpinning the CACEE Data & Systems CoP is to:

  • Inspire: Dive into the world of career data visualization through stunning showcases and success stories from industry experts.
  • Collaborate: For CoP participants to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and embark on exciting projects that push the boundaries of career insights.
  • Network: Forge valuable connections, both locally and globally, with individuals who share our passion for data-driven career development.

The CACEE Data & Systems CoP is led by:

Natasha Tendiono (she/they) 
University of Waterloo | Centre for Career Development, Co-operative & Experiential Education

Sherry Wang (she/her)
York University | PhD Candidate

and is administered as a value add to professionals supporting the journey from post-secondary studies to career success by the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE).  The CoP offers participants a CoP  Forum to stay connected throughout the year, a minimum of 2 virtual sessions per year and the opportunity to connect at the CACEE National Conference.  There is no cost to participate.
