On March 12, 2020, CACEE announced the postponement of the 2020 National Conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sparking global public health concerns.

After very careful consideration, we have decided to take the 2020 National Conference virtual! We will be providing attendees with the opportunity for attendees to network with industry peers from the comfort of their own homes.

Meet Our Co-Chairs

TB.png   Trevor Buttrum is an award-winning leader in the campus recruitment and career education space. He leverages 15+ years of front-line and supervisory experience to lead the Career Connections program at the Insurance Institute of Canada which empowers career seekers to find their place in the property & casualty insurance industry.

He is also currently the Director, Marketing & Communications on the CACEE National Board. Some of Trevor’s previous engagement with CACEE includes Director, Affiliate on the national board (2015-17), a National Conference Co-Chair (2015), an Ontario Regional Conference Co-Chair (2016), and co-leader of the CACEE Competency Ambassador Team (2016-Present).

In 2018, he was recognized as Campus Recruiter of the Year at the TalentEgg National Campus Recruitment Excellence Awards and the Career Connections team was the recipient of the Excellence in Innovation – Campus Recruitment and Employer Branding Awards from CACEE.
 CS.jpg   Catherine Stace manages Career Services at McGill University’s Max Bell School of Public Policy. An expert in the school to career transition, Catherine works closely with graduate students helping them find meaningful careers, and equally closely with employers to find the right talent. She has chaired numerous regional and national conferences and is a sought-after guest speaker at career forums and symposiums.

Driven by the belief that Canadian youth should have access to high quality career development and experimental learning opportunities Catherine sits on the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers’ national board, Quebec Regional Advisory Board, and Youth Employment Services’ Quebec Provincial Employment Round-table committee. Catherine is a recipient of the McGill University Principal’s Award, and the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers’ Moe Ktytor’s Award of Merit

Already Registered for the In-Person Conference? 

Click here to view the dated in-person rates. If you were registered and have paid for the CACEE National Conference previously scheduled for May 2020, please read through the following information carefully, as it will address any questions you may have about your ticket status.

CACEE appreciates your patience regarding the process for the CACEE in-person Conference that has has transitioned to a virtual experience due to COVID-19.

All ticket holders have the following 3 options:

  • Option A – Transfer the full dollar value of your registration from the in-person conference to the Virtual Conference and use the remaining balance to bring 3-5 colleagues (depending on remaining credit).
  • Option B - Transfer your registration from the in-person conference to the Virtual Conference, with the balance to be held as a credit to be applied to any upcoming professional development opportunities provided by CACEE from the time of your registration to November 21, 2021. You may also use the remaining credits to renew your CACEE Membership for the year 2021.
  • Option C - Transfer your registration from the in-person conference to the Virtual Conference, with the balance to go towards sponsorship of the Virtual Conference.

Before you make your selection, please be aware of the following terms:

  • If you are selecting OPTION A, the original ticket buyer must be the person submitting the request and follow the below steps:
    • Step 1: Click here to register and choose your registration tier. Then, follow the registration process.
    • Step 2: Once you have filled out your registration information, and would like to add additional attendees, click "Click here to add a new registrant" 
    • Step 3: Once you've reached the check out, choose the "Pay Later by Invoice" option on the bottom right.
    • Step 4: We will apply your credit and send you the final invoice and/or credits remaining. 
  • If you are selecting OPTION B, the original ticket buyer must be the person submitting the request and follow the below steps:
    • Step 1: Click here to register and choose your registration tier. Then, follow the registration process.
    • Step 2: Once you've reached the check out, choose the "Pay Later by Invoice" option on the bottom right.
    • Step 3: We will apply your credit and send you the final invoice and/or credits remaining.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are registered for the conference and need to cancel, you must send written notice of cancellation to the CACEE Management Office (c/o Melanie Smilynov) by November 1 in order to receive a full refund.  Between November 1 and November 6 there will be a cancellation/processing fee of $50.00 for members and $100.00 for non-members.  AFTER NOVEMBER 6, 2020 NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
