Daniel Campos Caramori works as Business Development Director at Mitacs, where he helps funding collaborative innovation projects between Canadian industry and academic institutions with the goal of advancing R&D and commercialization practices of Canadian companies, municipalities, hospitals, and NGOs.

Daniel has a background in international trade, government relations, entrepreneurship, and not-for-profit management spanning six countries. He also held leadership and advisory roles in international development programs, advising industry leaders and governments in creating policies to ensure the development of an industry-ready workforce. Daniel also oversaw the recruitment of +4000 youth for projects related to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
