CACEE Committee Members:

• attend and actively participate in regular meetings (at least 4 per year)
• have 2-4 hours per month to contribute to CACEE
• contribute their knowledge, skills, and expertise in an area aligned to their interests 
• advise on key issues and provide input to support the work of the association
• ensure that the CACEE community is vibrant, relevant, and reflexive of the needs of its members
• have the opportunity to grow their own competencies and leadership skills
• commit to a one (1) year term of office and to being a CACEE member in good standing throughout their term

Several CACEE Committees - CACEE Competencies, Finance, Marketing & Communications, Member Engagement & Awards, Facilitators - Career Educator Certificate, Facilitators - Early Career Recruiter Certificate, National Conference and Programming - are looking for new members to support their important work and role within the CACEE community.  Click here to learn a little bit more about the work of each committee.

Employer, Affiliate Members and Career Educators who support Employer Relations are particularly encouraged to express interest in serving on a CACEE Committee. 

What is the Process to Apply?

The first step is to complete this application form.  The 'Call for Committee Members' closes at 3:00 pm Eastern on February 29th, 2024.

If there are any questions about your application or if additional information is required, a member of the Elections Committee will reach out.

In Early March, each Committee (Co-)Chair will review the applications for their committee based on their current needs and connect with applicants to coordinate next steps in the process. 

A full slate of 2024-25 CACEE Committee Members will be presented to the membership in later in March.
