The Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) is  thrilled to officially announce its partnership with RBC Future Launch on some exciting programming initiatives for 2023!

RBC Future Launch® empowers youth for the jobs of today and tomorrow by connecting them with community leaders and partners across the private and public sectors to help them prepare for the future of work. RBC Future Launch has committed $500 million to empower youth aged 15-29 to gain new skills, grow their networks, get work experience and enhance their mental well-being.

CACEE Executive Director, Trevor Buttrum, noted that the partnership with RBC Future Launch “is very exciting and enables programming which continues to deepen the knowledge and expertise of professionals supporting the transition from post-secondary to career!” He went on to note that “these new programming additions are examples of the association and National Board of Directors' commitment to delivering the utmost in high quality and leading-edge professional development to the CACEE community!”

New Webinar Series

With the support of RBC Future Launch, CACEE is hosting the 2023 ‘At the Forefront’ Webinar Series.  This 4-part series, beginning February 28th, profiles tools, resources and subject matter expertise focused on emerging trends and issues that are top of mind for employers and career educators.  Topics include: mental health, experiential education, career navigation and future skills, and entrepreneurship.

The series will tap into the expertise of organizational partners like jack.org, LinkedIn Learning, The Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health, and Riipen to provide concrete take-a-ways, access to the latest evidence-based practice, and learnings for participants to apply in their work with students, new graduates, and early career talent.

Early Career Recruiter Certificate

RBC Future Launch is also the presenting partner of CACEE’s revamped Early Career Recruiter Certificate Program!  This 5-module certificate equips talent acquisition professionals, hiring managers, campus program leads, and HR leaders with a solid foundation on which to build and execute their early talent strategy. 

Facilitators in the program are award winning professionals with deep subject matter expertise in campus recruitment strategy, early career talent management, and employer branding. 

Each 1-hour module is designed to be highly interactive, promote the exchange of ideas, and build out the professional network of participants through connections made in the program. Three cohorts will be offered in 2023 | Winter, Spring and Fall | with the first kicking off February 8th!
