The Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) is pleased to announce its Call for Poster Sessions for the upcoming 2023 CACEE National Conference.

This is a unique platform for you to contribute to the pan-Canadian dialogue on the post-secondary to career transition by showcasing leading-edge research, applications of evidence-based practice or theoretical models, innovation, partnerships, and strategies for student engagement.

Event Details:

Mark your calendars for the 2023 CACEE National Conference, taking place from December 4th to 6th, 2023, at the renowned BMO Institute for Learning (IFL) in Toronto, ON. The conference will host over 100+ career educators, employers, senior leaders, partners, funders, and vendors from across Canada, providing a rich and diverse audience for your insights.

Benefits of Participation

  • Excellence in Innovation and Research Showcase: Your poster session will be presented on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, as part of a dedicated and unique showcase for all delegates.

  • Extended Exposure: Your work will also be featured on the conference app, ensuring maximum exposure to a broad audience.

  • Discounted Conference Access: As a poster session presenter, you are eligible a special discounted rate to attend the full conference, providing unparalleled networking and learning opportunities.

  • Potential for Additional Engagement: Select sessions may be invited to participate in a post-conference blog post, feature in a member publication, or involvement in a CACEE webinar presentation.

How to Participate:

Step 1 - Proposal Submission

Complete the submission form by 5:00 pm Eastern on October 27th, 2023. We welcome both individual presenters and co-presenters.

*NOTE* While research (both academic and applied) is most commonly associated with Poster Sessions, this call also invites submissions that explore applications of evidence-based practice or theoretical models, spotlight strategies for student engagement, showcase innovation, or demonstrate collaborative partnerships.

Step 2 - Review

The conference planning committee will review all proposals and communicate the next steps no later than October 31st, 2023. Successful presenters are invited and strongly encouraged to register for the full conference at the specially discounted rate.

Step 3 - Preparation

Prepare your final poster presentation, ensuring it is ready for display by November 26th, 2023. If you plan to ship materials in advance, kindly ensure their arrival at the conference venue by December 1st, 2023.

Step 4 - Shine Bright

On Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, you will showcase your work to over 100+ delegates from across Canada. You will also be able to extend the reach of your session via the conference app and engagement with fellow professionals at the conference.
