Communities of Practice (CoP) Roundtables 

These roundtable discussions are an opportunity to niche-down into your areas of interest and role in strengthening the early talent pipeline. While there is a facilitator for each CoP, they are there to nurture dialogue rather than to lead it. So come prepared to exchange ideas, tap into collective expertise, share successes and key learnings, identify approaches to common challenges, and foster connection with colleagues.

What better way to cultivate the early talent pipeline than fostering connections between career educators and employers? This fun-take on speed networking will provide a forum for employers to build their brand awareness amongst career influencers and for career educators to pitch how their students and new grads can help meet employers’ talent needs. 

The event is also a great opportunity to share innovative programs (e.g., experiential learning, diversity focused initiatives, new graduate rotational programs, and more) with each other and identify ways to collaborate.

Why not fuel your morning by joining one of the Hot Topic Table discussions – where ideas sizzle, perspectives blaze and innovation sparks! Join a few of your colleagues in exchanging insights on the hottest trends, issues, and topics in our space. 

If a table is full, feel free to grab another and expand the conversation. Or should one of the conference sessions spark a conversation you’d like to continue or you have another burning question you would like to explore, invite a few colleagues to join you.

This session is all about applying a systems-thinking approach to address emerging trends and issues in career education and early talent recruitment. On Monday, this will be a more informal event that has been coined ‘Networking Unplugged’ and on Tuesday, we will keep the good times rollin’ after our Dinner and Social Event sponsored by Enterprise Mobility.

Accommodations - 

Still looking to Book Accommodations? You can do so here. The exclusive CACEE rate is $230/night which includes breakfast each day and dinner (when not otherwise a part of the conference program). The CACEE booking window is December 3rd – 6th and you may book any combination of evenings therein. 

Arriving on Sunday, December 3rd? The BMO IFL has opened-up additional rooms, so you are now able to amend your reservation to include this additional night at the CACEE exclusive rate. In addition to dinner on Sunday, your package will also include breakfast and the option for lunch (before the conference starts in the afternoon) on Monday.

Pricing & Key Dates - 

Register for the 2023 CACEE National Conference using the registration links at the bottom of this page.  Please note that in order to access the Member Rate, you need to be logged into your CACEE account.

Standard Conference Rate
November 6th - November 24th

CACEE Member - $800 | Non-Member - $925


Group Rates for 3 conference attendees or more are available.  Please contact the CACEE National Office at events@cacee.com to coordinate registrations involving a group rate.

After November 24th, registration is only available by contacting the CACEE National Office at events@cacee.com and is subject to subsequent approval by the conference venue.

Health & Safety Protocols -

Click here for more information about the BMO IFL’s commitment to health and safety. In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s reopening plan, CACEE will take direction from the Ministry of Public Health in accordance with the latest provincial guidelines. 

As of March 21, 2022, masks are not required at the BMO IFL. Though masks are NOT mandatory as of this date, they will still be encouraged for both guests and employees and highly recommended for those who are immunocompromised, at high risk, or who choose to still use them. Proof of vaccination is no longer required at the BMO IFL. 

Please note this may be subject to change but compliance with all government regulations at the time will be required and enforced at the conference.

Cancellation, Refunds, and Transfers -

Requests for cancellations or refunds need to be made by contacting the CACEE National Office at events@cacee.com.

  • Cancellation requests received by October 4th, 2023 – Registrants will receive a full refund less a $75 administrative fee.
  • Cancellation requests received between October 5th – November 4th, 2023 – Registrants will a receive 50% refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellation requests received after November 4th, 2023. Substitute attendees are permitted.

Substitute attendees are possible up until registration on-site at the conference venue opens at 12:00 pm Eastern on December 4th, 2023.  Please e-mail events@cacee.com to confirm substitute attendee details as soon as possible.

If payment is not received prior to the opening of registration on-site at the conference venue at 12:00 pm Eastern on December 4th, 2023, CACEE reserves the right to cancel an attendee/attendees registrations without prejudice or liability.

CACEE also reserves the right at any time to change the conference venue, topics or speakers, and to cancel the conference without prejudice or liability, other than, except where a force majeure (which will have the same meaning as in the applicable contracts with the third party suppliers in connection with the conference) event applies, a refund of the conference fees paid. If, because of a force majeure event(s), the CACEE National Board of Directors determines that the conference needs to be cancelled, CACEE may deduct fees (determined by reference to the amounts which CACEE is required to pay to third parties under contracts entered into in connection with the conference) to any and all refunds issued. Copies of the contractual arrangements with third parties, including the force majeure provisions of those contracts, can be made available to members on request.
