In person professional development and/or networking events take many forms. Regional Committees identify what is most required in their region and plan around the identified needs. The types of activities that traditionally take place include: After Work Networking Drinks and Discussion in Ontario Region, Lunch and Learn events in Quebec Region, and breakfast sessions in Canada West Region. Content for these sessions is usually relevant to what is happening in our profession right now. This may be an important issue that can’t wait for presentation at the National Conference, or an environmental scan to identify activity levels for this year’s on campus recruiting season.
